New M200EA Input/ Output Wired Modules
The System Sensor M200 wired range of Input/ Output modules has been redesigned to address its microcontroller obsolescence and grant full backward-compatibility.
The new part numbers will be available to order as the certification bodies issue the relevant certificates for your countries.
We expect them to complete these certifications by below dates:
- CPR: 1st April 2021 (Received)
- BOSEC & VdS: By December 2021
As per the above schedule, CPR has been received. Thus, from the 12th April 2021 we kindly ask you to place your orders for the concerned products using the new part numbers (see chart below). As you can see, we have kept the new part numbers as close as possible to the original.
As soon as we get the certifications from BOSEC and VdS (expected by Dec 2021), we will inform you:
Description | Old Part Number | New Part Number |
INTELLIGENT MODULE – 1 INPUT | M210E | M210EA |
INTELLIGENT MODULE – 2 INPUT | M220E | M220EA |
INT.MODULE – 2IN-1OUTPUT | M221E | M221EA |
INT.SINGLE OUTPUT MODULE | M201E | M201EA |
Description
The EN54-17 and EN54-18 approved Wired I/O Modules allow interfacing of external signal with the fire system, for example fire doors status, water sprinkler flow status, or standalone detection system like a beam detector, aspiration smoke detector, or relay gas detector.
The M201EA module can also drive external outputs, like conventional sounders, audio broadcasting control to ensure effective evacuation in the event of a fire threat.
